星洲日報, 13 May 2013 （加拿大‧渥太華13日訊）加拿大馬尼托巴省西部上週五突然出現一陣時速高達56公里的怪風， 將多芬湖內的浮冰捲至岸邊，猶如一場“冰海嘯”。“冰海嘯”在短短15分鐘內，徹底摧毀6間房屋，另有14間房屋遭受不同程度破壞，當地的自治市 Ochre Beach宣佈進入緊急狀態。 當地官員形容，事件無造成傷亡堪稱奇跡。有當地居民指，過去曾有浮冰被捲至岸邊，但從未出現湧入民居的情況。 Source: http://news.sinchew.com.my/node/296605?tid=2
