沙紅潮再奪一命‧女子疑吃毒貝類不治
星洲日報, 14 Feb 2013 （沙巴‧亞庇13日訊）沙巴紅潮現象再奪一命，一名23歲外來女子疑食用受到紅潮毒素污染的貝類後，被送入里卡士婦孺醫院後不治身亡。 這意味著，沙巴紅潮現象從去年杪至今已造成3人身亡。在此之前，一名14歲少年及9歲兒童疑因在食用源自實邦加海岸的蛤蜊後不治身亡。前者於今年1月2日去世，後者則於1月4日逝世。 衛生部副部長拿督羅斯娜表示，死者證實為非公民達敏南都，居住在下南南一帶。死者是於今天凌晨約2時55分在里卡士婦孺醫院不治身亡。死者在被送入醫院時，已經不省人事。 羅斯娜也是巫統女青年團全國團長。她今日在巫統大廈主持巫女青團全國執委會會議後指出，里卡士婦孺醫院於今日凌晨12時，共接獲18宗疑因紅潮毒素引發的集體食物中毒事件，其中一人死亡。 她說，患者都是食用了在下南南夜市購買的貝類後，引發食物中毒，衛生局已派員前往下南南夜市收集貝類樣本，並送往漁業局進行化驗，惟化驗報告尚未出爐。 衛生局吁勿吃貝類 羅斯娜說：“這些食物中毒者都曾在下南南的夜市購買貝類或在里卡士灣海邊集拾貝類，他們的症狀包括頭痛、嘴巴、手部出現麻痺、出現嘔吐及頭暈。＂ 她指出，沙巴州至今仍未擺脫紅潮現象，衛生局與漁業局依然採取監督行動，並提醒民眾勿食用貝殼類海產或小魚。 Source
