Haze: 211 schools in Muar, Ledang ordered to close on Monday

MUAR: All 211 schools in Muar and Ledang have been ordered to close down on Monday due to the haze. District Education Department officer Ahmad Othman said that a total of 76,940 students would be affected due to the haze.
“There are 171 primary and 40 secondary schools in both districts.
“The schools have been told to shut down since last Thursday and the department will continue to close down until the situation improves,” he said to reporters when met at the Muar District Office here on Sunday.
