Time of observation: 8:00 pm, 21st December 2017.
Location: Latitude 7.9 North and Longitude 127.7 East, approximately 133 km Northwest of Tagum City, Philipine.
Movement: Westwards with speed of 20km/h.
Distant from nearest town: Approximately 1075 km Northeast of Kinabatangan, Sabah.
II) Name: Tropical Storm Kai-tak
Time of observation: 8:00 pm, 21st December 2017.
Location: Latitude 6.5 North and Longitude 108.5 East, approximately 431 km Southeast of Bac Lieu, Vietnam.
Movement: Westwards with speed of 20km/h.
Distant from nearest town: Approximately 565 km Northwest of Mukah, Sarawak.
Threat to Malaysia: This condition may cause strong winds more than 60 kmph and waves more than 4.5 metres (15 feet) over the waters off Labuan FT, Sabah (Interior, West Coast, Kudat & Sandakan), Sarawak, Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang & East Johore.
