Haze Update: ASEAN Fire Hot Spot and Haze Map on 20 June 2013
The satellite detected hot spot and haze on 20 June 2013 shows that fire hot spot in both Sumatra Island and Borneo is decreasing. However, the area of Haze pollution has been extended further Eastward into the South China Sea.
The API of Muar, Southern Peninsular Malaysia reached 383, while Singapore PSI reached record value of 371. There are a few places at Southern Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore fall into the “Hazardous Level” since late 19 June 2013.
