Latest update on Tropical Storm Sonamu, 8 Jan 2013, 12:00am.
Tropical Storm Sonamu is now locating near the Natuna Island at South China Sea. It is projected moving southward.
Possibility of Sonamu landing at the Peninsular Malaysia is very low, however, the accumulated cloud along its “tail” might cause heavy rainfall at the surrounding region. Latest news from Vietnam shows that there are one casualties and damaging vessel caused by the high wave and strong wind at the Binh Thuan region.
