Is there a tropical cyclone forming off Sabah coast?

Current storm, high wave and flood at the Land Under the Wind is severe, however, there is no sign of these bad weather will end any time soon.

According to the CIRA Tropical Cyclone Formation Probability in the next 48 hours, there is a possibility of Tropical Cyclone forming off the South China Sea region which located at the northwest of Sabah. The worst scenario will be for Philippines as the Tropical Cyclone Vong Fong on the east while potential cyclone formation on the west. The Vong Fong is projected to travel northward towards Taiwan.

In the Andaman Sea, Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC) already issued warning of the Tropical Cyclone Formation alert, currently, this storm is projected moving towards the Bay of Bengal.
