GEORGE TOWN: The northern states can expected thunderstorms in the afternoon until Monday.
The Meteorological Department’s forecast for the coming days is one of heavy rains and strong winds to fall over the northern states.
However, rain is most likely to occur only in the afternoon.
The possibility of thunderstorms is to the combination of rain and strong wind due the southwest monsoon, according to the department.
The public are advised to be careful and stay away from coastal activities.
